DEVTAC Ronin ballistic helmet (Ronin) is a Headwear item in Escape from Tarkov.
Description[edit | edit source]
Not used in the army or special forces helmet. Just somehow happened to be in Tarkov for some frivolous price. Has full protection of the whole head, but the armor class is not good enough.

Trivia[edit | edit source]
- The Devtac started life as an airsoft helmet design, and was made to enable significant protection. It meets the NIJ IIIA standards, but funnily enough, it would probably not even meet GOST 2.
- The real life version has a mount slot, as the ballistic version can mount NVGs, flip-up optics, and so on.
- The helmet has micro cooling fans in real life.
- There was a fake story of SAS trials/use, made by lax journalism that claimed it could withstand AK-47 fire and had an HUD.
